Valentine’s Day 2020 is just around the corner! This post is meant to help you find the perfect V-Day D&D gift for your partner or your closest friends. Enjoy!

Put on your glasses, prepare a coffee and be ready to check out the 2020 edition of the Top 5 D&D Gifts for Valentine’s Day! However, this list isn’t “D&D only”, since all the gifts can be used on any other medieval fantasy RPG.

As with the 2019 version of this post, this list will start in descending order from what I consider to be the most basic/simple items to the most innovative ones.

5. Cup of Wonder & Dice Bags

“Wait… is that an actual cup, of actual wonder? You said it was going to be basic!”

Yes, and that’s the wonder of this D&D Gift! Wiz Dice brings us these beautiful looking dice inside of beautiful cup, inside of a really cool looking box, for a very reasonable price!

This gift is perfect for DMs, players and newcomers as well, as it contains five full sets of (did I say beautiful?) dice, which act as the perfect D&D player starter kit as well!

Now, what could be the perfect match for a cup of wonder, or dice like these? Exactly, a rolling tray! But also an exquisite dice bag!

Haxtec brings us this amazing looking dice bag that resembles the eyes of a player after an all-nighter session a dragon, although it also comes in a few colors!

Again, the price of this one is fairly affordable, so if you want, you could even pair it with this cup to have the full Dragon experience!

That cup could also be used as an in-game prop for some kind of feast or suitable for any king to use (and now you have a new side-quest to include to your campaign!)

4. Handmade Drinking Mug

Drinks are present in every single session, so why not take the experience even further?

There are some really cool looking mugs online, but these are the ones I would strongly recommend!

A handmade oak mug just like the ones we use in The DM’s Tavern. No further explanation needed *wink wink*

They’re the perfect addition to any party, and they’re mandatory for cheering and singing around the goblin head you just took as a trophy!

But of course, DMs sometimes like to be reminded they’re special, so here’s a special gift for them: a personalized Dungeon Master mug! (or maybe the DM happens to be your husband/wife)

3. Collector’s Series Miniatures

It’s safe to say that one of the main problems we’ve seen in DMs is lack of miniature diversity.

This is because (let’s be realistic) most people are not able to afford a vast collection of expensive bosses and NPCs.

Is there a big bad evil guy you would like to fight against but you haven’t had the chance yet? Expand your special other’s collection!

The best part? There’s no way this gift can go wrong. Every collector’s series miniature will always be a pleasant surprise!

The bad side of it? A lot of them are expensive.

The good side? Some of them are not expensive at all and they still look fantastic.

2. Dungeon Master Screen

Believe it or not, this is probably one of the most requested D&D gift ideas I’ve seen DMs make, and for a very good reason!

Screens are the secret hub of every Dungeon Master, so we shouldn’t be taking them for granted.

If you know they’re into practicality, then one of your best bets is The Master’s Tome! A fully customizable 4-panel screen.

On the other hand, if you want your gift to be as aesthetically pleasing as it can, then this beauty is for you!

A high quality wood DM screen, with a dragon carved on it, and metal clips. Made for the most stylish DMs. Simply gorgeous!

1. Adventurer’s Bag

If you’ve been playing D&D for a while, you definitely know that one of the worst struggles of a DM is organization, especially if they’re not just having sessions at their home.

They’ve used it all: tool boxes, corrugated boxes, standard backpacks and even plastic bags.

If you’ve seen any of these before, then you’ve come to the right place!

The solution? An Adventurer’s Bag from ENHANCE Gaming.

One of the worst consequences about keeping D&D materials (especially maps and expensive miniatures) in any box is that they can rapidly deteriorate.

This bag was made exclusively for the struggling DM! It has special compartments for books, sheets, loot pouches, miniatures, dice, maps, and the list goes on and on.

They’re also perfect for DMs who like to travel or for adventures abroad (or out in the wild)

And for travelers who need to carry even more, there’s also a larger version of the bag. A true wonder!

Final Words

In the end, the most important gift will probably not come from any item. But a well-celebrated Valentine’s Day will never have too many surprises, and a D&D surprise for a DM or player can be a fantastic surprise, especially if it is unexpected. Happy Valentine’s Day!
